Non-powered Campsites By the Beach
The Main Park area encompasses all sites in The Crescent, Paradise, Dunes, Sunrise, and Pohutukawa zones on the Hahei Beach Resort Map.
Less than a 1-minute walk to Hahei Beach, all the campsites have easy access to all the Resort facilities that make beach life so cruisy. Our non-powered sites are suitable for campervans, caravans, or tents. Outside of Peak Summer Season, parking motorhomes and caravans will be a breeze.
- All campsites in Main Park have direct access to Hahei Beach
- Each site is grassed, and has easy access to an individual a water tap in close proximity
- Toilet amenity buildings are located throughout the park for convenience
- Outdoor showers near the beach access points
- Centrally located communal facilities with kitchen, fridges and freezers, showers, and laundry facilities
- Secure charging lockers available to hire at reception for phones, cameras and laptops etc
- Shared BBQs and a covered alfresco dining area
- Onsite barista coffee and the shop has all the camp basics including ice (and icecream!)
- Onsite restaurants, bars, and entertainment in peak summer season
- Fish cleaning station for your daily catch
- The playground is centrally located, bring your own bikes, scooters - don’t forget the helmets
- Dump stations onsite
- Book your Kayak or Hahei Explorer tours when you get here
- Please note Dunes sites 21 to 34 can only be booked in Peak Summer Season
PLEASE NOTE: Your campervan or caravan must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness, and your power cord has electric certification and is tagged. Domestic power cords will not connect to our power boxes, you must have an approved 'camping-style' power cord with three long round pins and a safety RCD.
