The busy Summer Peak Season is from 26 December to the end of Waitangi Weekend. Bookings for Summer 2024/2025 are now open to book online. New Years Eve availability is very rare (due to last minute cancellations) so keep checking the online calendar. Easter is also a very popular time to book, you can book online now. Follow us on social media for updates @haheibeachresort
New Year’s Eve is a light-hearted, family event at our Resort where families celebrate together - it's a great night with live music, great food and the bar will be open. This is our most popular date to book so availability will be very rare. We do not tolerate any excessive drinking or loud parties and expect all guests to respect their neighbours who may be trying to sleep. Whilst quiet time is usually 10.30pm, we do give some leeway until midnight on this evening only. Our Resort Rules on behaviour, alcohol, and noise will apply.
If you have a history of staying with us over our Peak Season period, of one year or longer, you may complete a Peak Season Booking Request form for the following summer - a unique digital form will be emailed to eligible guests. For those with no Peak Season booking history, summer bookings will open online in June/July for the next summer season. Updated Payment Terms & Conditions Apply for 2025/2026 season. Please follow us on social media to see the announcements.
Our Criteria Customers have a history of staying with us for five consecutive years or longer on the same site/accommodation, for the same date range. Our Criteria and Longstanding customers are given first preference to rebook for the following year prior to general bookings opening early July. A Criteria Customer may have one grace year and not lose Criteria status on their site or accommodation. Updated Payment Terms & Conditions Apply for 2025/2026 season.
We have minimum night stays during Summer Peak Season. If you can only stay for less than the minimum requirement, send us an inquiry or give us a call to see what we can do for you. We do give priority to bookings that meet our minimum stay requirements. If you stay less than the minimum night stays, you will not be eligible for a Peak Season Request form.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm all Summer Peak Season bookings. Please see our Reservation Terms and Conditions for more information.
We will do our very best, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet your specific request. Please write any requests eg. which site, area, or cabin you would like or if you would like to be next to friends. If you can be flexible with your dates , especially after 10 January, or before Anniversary Weekend there is a greater chance we can accommodate you.
We try our very hardest to accommodate everyone’s requests. We do require each separate site/cabin to be booked separately. When you request your site please write the names of the other families that you would like to be next to (and the sites they are requesting, if you know). Please note that if we receive more than one booking in your name, it will be rejected.
We are a family-oriented campground so if your group wants a relaxed and friendly vibe, and is happy to abide by our Resort Rules, including noise and alcohol restrictions, we welcome you to our place. You can request sites together (mention who you want to be next to) and we’ll see what we can do. Make sure you understand our terms of booking i.e. each site is to be booked individually and each booking is for a specific site with a maximum of 5 people per site. The person who has booked the site or accommodation, the ‘reservation holder’, must be staying for the duration of the booking. If you’re looking for a place to party, we kindly suggest you look elsewhere.
Check-in is 12pm for campsites and 2pm for all other accommodation. Latest check-in time is 9pm. Check-out is by 10am for all guests. Please DO NOT ask for an early check-in or check-out during this busy time. Guests must check in and update email contact details to to eligible for a Peak Season Request form for the next season.
Our camping sites are all approximately 8x8m, so can easily fit your tent or caravan, plus your car or trailer and a picnic table or gazebo. However, all your belongings, including all vehicles, boats, trailers etc must fit within the boundaries of your site. It’s worth checking with us for exact dimensions if you plan to bring a lot.
You may only park vehicles within your campsite boundaries. This will be strictly enforced. If you have extra trailers or boats etc that do not fit on your site, or in your allocated parking (for accommodation), we have some extra space available for a daily fee, on a first-come-first-served basis. Please ask when booking to check availability. You cannot park cars or trailers on empty sites or green spaces nearby, or on the road edge outside your boundary.
Visitors are welcome between 9am - 10pm. All visitors must register at reception or BarHei. You are responsible for all your visitors by making sure they abide by our Resort Rules, including leaving the property by 10pm. If friends do want to stay overnight, you must not exceed the respective maximum number allowed on your campsite (5 people) or in your accommodation. Please bring your friend to Reception to request, register, and pay the nightly fee. Visitor vehicles are not allowed onsite.
Our Security Guard patrols at night during Summer Peak Season, and is on hand to take care of any disturbances and ensure your safety. Please respect any requests the guard may have and we will all have a fun time. The barrier arm at our entry will be permanently down over our Peak Peak period and a gate code will be issued to you to come and go in your vehicle. Please call reception on 07 866 3889 and you will be connected to the team.
We love fur friends but sorry, we cannot allow pets in any accommodation or camping over these busy periods in the park.
No, sorry. No exceptions.
Please review our Resort Rules for information on behavior, alcohol, parking, using powered sites, smoking, bikes, rubbish, and more plus our Terms & Conditions regarding Summer Peak Season bookings.
